Sister of Michael, Patrick & Carleen Carlson of Carlson Funeral Homes

MARY MARCOVY OBITUARY (nee Carlson) passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 15, 1954 in Defiance, Ohio to the late Earl and Katharine Carlson.

Beloved wife of Timothy Marcovy for 47 wonderful years of marriage; loving mother of Meaghann (Scotty) Lees and Aaron (Naomi) Marcovy; cherished Grammy of Thea, Jack and Daniel; loving sister of Michael, Kathleen, Patrick (Patricia), and Carleen (Rick Hamrick - deceased); loved sister-in-law of Mark and Corry Knopick; loving aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews; beloved sister of the late Sean (Lani) Carlson and Neil Carlson; beloved sister-in-law of the late Deb and Benj Malecha.

Mary was a longtime member of Gesu Catholic Church Choir. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining, singing, cross stitch, reading, and her family. She embodied the spirit of etiquette, generosity, and wit. She will be dearly missed by her family and many close friends.

Friends may call on Monday, March 27, 2023 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Schulte Mahon & Murphy Funeral Home, 5252 Mayfield Rd, Mayfield Heights, OH 44124. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Gesu Catholic Church 2450 Miramar Blvd, University Heights, OH 44118. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.
